A Blueprint for Energy Conservation
The Youth Energy Initiative realizes its vision for energy conservation through a series of initiatives directed toward the youth of society. Youth Energy Initiative reaches out by way of exciting entertainment that is both enjoyable and educational as well as interactive youth programs and educational games. Serving as an interface, Youth Energy Initiative helps energy utilities and other energy-conscious organizations better inform the public about their products and programs for improving energy sustainability.

The YEI Blueprint for Energy Conservation is administered in several ways:

Film and Television
By utilizing theatrical and television venues, YEI will reach out to millions of children with high end entertainment productions while conveying important messages on energy and the environment. Our first major project is the launching of a feature-length animated film based on our characters, The Elementals. We will take audiences on an intergalactic adventure that sees our team travel down an unknown path to save their planets and their families, putting aside their differences and working together. The message of the film is to sell children and families on our characters personalities and provide role models that can teach future generations that just as our heroes, “We all have the power to make a difference!”, something we forget from time to time. An educational television spin off is planned to follow as our characters will teach families about our world and all that it has to offer and how we can make it a more efficient and healthy place to live. Public service announcements will be produced for individual markets as well for both national and local energy companies.

Elementals Website/Galactic Energy Force
Designed as an interactive solar system for children to travel to, each planet will have a new and different learning experience. Each learning experience will either be made up of a short film or an interactive game. Upon traveling to our virtual interactive world, children will be inducted into the Galactic Energy Force and be a part of a world wide club aimed at making the world a more efficient place. Children will receive recognition and for their contributions through scoreboards and awards.

Disney’s ImagiNations Contest
Each year Disney invites schools and non-profit organizations to compete in a contest to design a new exhibit for one of the Disney parks. YEI will design and present an exhibit geared toward providing visitors with a fun and interactive educational journey through the world of energy.

Educational books and DVDs
Schools are where education begins, our informative books and DVDs will aim to provide an exiting learning experience for classrooms that will have children exited to take what they have learned home with them and even teach their parents a thing or two.
