News about the energy crisis is everywhere, but how do we solve it? The answer can be found in educating future energy users: Youth Energy Initiative's primary goal. A non-profit educational organization, Youth Energy Initiative was founded to increase energy awareness today and help prepare our nations youth for tomorrow. Youth Energy Initiative (YEI) was founded in 2004 for by Marc Sabourin, Ph.D., a leader in the development of energy efficient industrial technologies. An advocate for energy conservation and education, Dr. Sabourin is committed to helping today's youth build a promising future and a safe sustainable environment. His efforts are based on the following goals - improving global energy efficiency and ensuring a healthy living standard for present and future generations.

A Platform for Progressive Organizations
Youth Energy Initiative was also established as a platform to help progressive companies and institutions sponsor and inform today's generation about how their products and services can save energy and help the environment. Our initiative is about spreading energy stewardship by example and informing the public about the consequences of irresponsible energy use.

Founded in 2004, Youth Energy Initiative is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization providing energy-informative education and entertainment services to the public. We plan to spread our energy conservation initiative state by state, starting with Wisconsin. In 2005, YEI was incorporated as a non stock company in Wisconsin to lay the groundwork for the Youth Energy Initiative.
